Toronto is about to get a major fashion upgrade. On Sunday, September 28, the city will host its first-ever large-scale luxury resale event, Angels Wear PreLoved: The Luxury Resale Show, taking over a 13,000-square-foot venue at The Warehouse.
Picture rows of statement handbags, polished heels, and rare designer pieces—all curated from the world’s most coveted labels and offered at prices that don’t feel out of reach. It’s less a market, more like stepping inside the ultimate walk-in closet, with the added bonus of knowing each piece has a story.

Why It’s a Big Deal
Resale fashion has exploded in cities like New York, London, and Los Angeles, but Toronto—despite its reputation as a style hub—hasn’t had a dedicated stage for it. This show changes that.
Unlike a thrift pop-up or flea market, Angels Wear PreLoved brings a level of polish and curation usually reserved for boutiques. Expect a mix of current designer collections, brand-new finds, and timeless classics, each selected with intention. And because prices sit well below retail, fashion lovers can invest in high-quality pieces without blowing the budget.
The event is the brainchild of Toronto fashion insider Amy Polevoy. With roots at Flare magazine and more than a decade running her own private boutique, Amy has long been immersed in the city’s style culture. After closing her boutique in 2024, she was inspired by resale markets she’d seen abroad and set out to create something new for Toronto—an upscale, community-driven shopping experience with sustainability at its core.
As she puts it, “This isn’t just another vintage market—it’s about community, discovery, and celebrating individuality through fashion.”
A Who’s Who of Vendors
Some of Canada’s most recognized names in consignment and luxury resale are joining forces for the show, including:
- Rewind-Couture Revisited
- Mine & Yours
- Designer Consignor Girls
- ShopThing
- 1132 Consignment
- La Closette
And more are on the roster, ensuring everything from investment handbags to runway-worthy statement coats will be in the mix.

Why Now
The timing is right. The global luxury resale market is on track to grow by 10% between 2024 and 2029, fueled largely by Millennials and Gen Z shoppers. For many, resale offers a way to embrace sustainability, shop smarter, and build wardrobes that feel personal and unique.Unlike fast fashion, these pieces are designed to last—heritage handbags, accessories that carry fashion cachet. It’s style with staying power, both in quality and story.
This debut show is just the beginning. Plans are already underway for a two-day spring edition in 2026, with even more vendors and expanded collections. If you can’t make it this fall, the next round promises to be even bigger.
Angels Wear PreLoved isn’t just an event—it’s a shift in how Toronto shops for fashion. By blending sustainability, accessibility, and community, it’s carving out a new space in the city’s style scene.
