Edwardian Style Lion Rampant Silver Plate on Bronze Hand hotsell Bottle Opener

hotsell This rare bottle opener was made in Italy probably around the year 1900. It looks to be silver plate on bronze and will probably would take a polish but I find the patina to be quite attractive. The lion rampant has nice detail and the bronze peeking through on the high points of the lion's mane gives it a golden hue. The bottle opener measures approximately 5 1/2 inches long and 3 inches across and aside from normal wear and patination the piece is in great condition.
