Gucci and photographer Nan Goldin will be honored at the forthcoming Fashion Awards. The British Fashion Council (BFC) has revealed additional honorees for the event, which will take place on December 2.
Gucci will receive the Special Recognition Award for its “We Will Always Have London” campaign, directed by the brand’s creative director Sabato De Sarno and photographed by Nan Goldin.
The campaign features a series of striking personalities, including Kelsey Lu and Debbie Harry, who are highlighted to celebrate London’s creative spirit and its global influence on luxury fashion.
Gucci’s recognition extends beyond the campaign itself, reflecting the brand’s ongoing commitment to London. The brand recently hosted its Gucci Cruise 2025 Fashion Show in the city and is in the final stages of securing a three-year partnership with Tate Modern to support young talent. Through this collaboration, Gucci will fund scholarships for students at the London College of Fashion, emphasizing what the BFC has described as “London’s significant role in Gucci’s story as both a source of inspiration and a platform for nurturing new talent.”
In a press release, Caroline Rush, CEO of the BFC, said:
“London has long been a source of inspiration within the global fashion industry, and this campaign beautifully captures the spirit and energy that make our city so iconic. It truly showcases the city’s unique influence in fashion, art, and music worldwide. We can’t wait to celebrate Gucci and Nan Goldin in December.”
